Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist sought for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA, starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,579–$1,637 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (12x3) in an acute care setting. This position requires GA RRT license, NBRC RRT certification, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients per physician orders, including assessment, monitoring, and adjustment of therapy
- Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, airway care, CPAP/BiPAP, and humidification
- Administer aerosolized medications, perform chest physiotherapy, and assist with secretion clearance
- Monitor patient response, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed; respond to protocol-based events
- Collect and interpret arterial blood gases; communicate results to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy colleagues; ensure infection control and equipment safety
- Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

Requirements
- Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (GA RRT) license and NBRC RRT credential
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a travel assignment in Georgia
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment
