Job Summary

Psychiatric Nurse, Psychiatry, Springfield — Located approximately 15 minutes from Windham Center, this position involves providing inpatient psychiatric services at a 10-bed unit. The nurse will deliver specialized mental health care to adult residents from Vermont, as well as Sullivan and Cheshire counties in New Hampshire, primarily during night shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Vermont RN license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum 2 years of current psychiatric experience; current phlebotomy experience; must include active Vermont RN license with profile; work history and skills checklist; supervisor signed reference from within the past two years; own vehicle; previous psychiatric unit experience preferred; current Vermont RN license must be uploaded with profile; schedule is night shifts, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; schedule includes holidays and every other weekend, with additional holiday coverage as needed.
• Additional Information: The role includes performing blood draws, and a requirement for current phlebotomy experience is essential. The position involves providing care for adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting, emphasizing crisis stabilization and mental health treatment.
