Position Summary The Preschool Aide assists in creating a positive learning environment that supports the growth, development, and individual needs of each child. Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the aide helps ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience for all students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a learning and emotional environment that promotes each child's growth and development
• Support classroom activities, lesson preparation, and mealtimes
• Help maintain classroom management and implement daily schedules and routines
• Encourage positive behavior and a productive learning environment
• Support students with and without special needs
• Provide general supervision of children under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom and building environment
• Assist with before-school and after-school wraparound childcare programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
