This position involves onsite weekend inpatient rounding on child behavioral health units while providing concurrent call coverage. The schedule can be intermittent or regularly scheduled, depending on departmental needs. Responsibilities include: Conducting inpatient rounds and managing acute psychiatric issues, with or without residents and/or nurse practitioners Taking calls and responding to psychiatric residents to staff cases Collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team Providing supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when present Duties may be performed independently, may involve collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and, as part of a training setting, may include working with residents and/or students when available.
